Since 2011, the Charleston Food Truck Festival has grown from five trucks on a downtown street to a two-day, 40-plus-truck takeover of The Navy Yard — with live music, carnival rides, craft beer, and a kids zone thrown in.
The most recent Charleston Food Truck Festival ran March 1–2, 2025 at The Navy Yard's Building 64, 2301 Noisette Blvd in North Charleston, from 11am to 8pm both days.
More than 40 food trucks lined the fairgrounds, including regional names like Dave's Smoke & Tacos, Lola's Lumpia, The Pita Stroller, My Big Fat Greek Trailer, and Area 51 Foods, drawing trucks from across South Carolina and Georgia.
Beyond the food, the weekend featured four bar areas pouring cocktails, craft beer, and CBD and nonalcoholic drinks, plus carnival rides, live entertainment, and local artisan vendors. Bar sales that year benefited The Livity Foundation, the festival's nonprofit partner. Admission was free.
